Silly me...
I've lugged my trusty 500 lb. Canon 7D around for six weeks now and just made a stupid blunder. Having anticipated lots of stunning photo ops in Kennebunkport Maine, I broke out the big, bad, Canon. When we parked and started our walking tour I quickly checked to see if I had loaded an SD card into its slot. A quick glance revealed I hadn't. So...today's snaps were all from the trusty iPhone 7...sorry 'bout that.
Here's the punchline. After arriving home I immediately headed for my card reader to retrieve the Canon's SD card. It wasn't there! So...I rechecked the camera and "voila!" Moral: never check for your camera's SD card while sitting in a dark car using 70 year-old eyes.
No further comment; the pictures seem to speak for themselves. Fun morning!

The evolution of phones as cameras is amazing.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures as usual.
As I see your blogs on my mobile I probably would not have noticed the difference in the pictures if you had not mentioned it.
