Thanks to great friends and family assistance, the plumbing problem was limited to minor damage. Unfortunately, much of the frustration was to our neighbor friend's abode who shares a common wall with us.
The insurance company is contacted and seemingly in control. No deductible so long as all the damage claimed is to our neighbor's house. Plumbing and repairs to our house are on us, in other words. The plumber comes Wednesday for hopefully, a minor pipe fitting repair.
We'll be heading back today - making it as far as possible. We should be home Wednesday eve, hopefully, with running water and a dry house. Shortly thereafter, we'll change vehicles to the Mazda and head back to Killer Kentucky. It just seem like a better transportation choice for this kind of weather, at this time of year, in this part of the country, and under these circumstances.
Who knows what tomorrow holds in store? Bring it on!! Thanks for riding along!
Glad all worked out.
