Gunner sends his best!
Well...we're finally here and settling in. As you can tell from the photo above, Spring ain't quite sprung in Lexington. The weather is a little iffy this time of year, but every day has its very own good parts. Sunday was gorgeous almost all day. Since then, some clouds, some sun, some cool and some warm. We've visited some of our old haunts like Old Frankfort Pike and Wallace Station (great grub!). The kitchen is now well stocked and we're enjoying home cooked meals - tonight, green chili stew!
The cast of characters is a bit different here at the farm. Gunner's pasture-mate, Jack the donkey, started becoming a real ass. Too bad, you play nice or you can't enjoy the upscale living at the Fink Farm. Iceman, the white camel, started showing more of his wild side and has moved along as well. He was best buds with his Zebra pasture-mate, so the two are still together, albeit at another location.
We've been enjoying some of our beverage favorites; Old Fashioned and my all time favorite, Kentucky Moonshine - yum! A little sip of shine and a nice puff on the old pipe sure is a great way to watch the sun go down!
